Meet Our Instructors
Cobi Moore
Cobi is available for private and Pro +3 lessons when he is not playing professionally on the APP / PPA Tour.
Born and raised in Hampstead NH, he found a passion in competing in sports at the highest levels. After attending Lasell University and majoring in Education and playing volleyball there, he played professional volleyball in the Volleyball League of America.
Cobi found pickleball shortly after college and has played across the country at various levels including the pro circuit. Teaching was a passion from a young age so having the opportunity to teach and coaching something he loves has been a great experience.
Jennifer Deschenes
Certified Pickleball instructor under Dominique Lemperle of Sarasota Florida
A passionate and fiery player, yet cheerful and friendly— Jen attributes her success in pickle ball to her explosive deep serve, third shot drop and anticipation— AND her kiddos cheering her on from the sidelines!
Jen is excited to play a key role in promoting pickleball within the community while ensuring the overall success of Prime Pickleball NA.
While playing pickle ball with her family is a hobby, outside of playing pickle ball— Jen enjoys being a mom, teaching Spanish, playing tennis and getting Zen on her yoga mat.

Robert Theroux
PCI Pickleball Coach / PCI certified Rater IPTPA CRS-4 Certified rater
I have been a certified PCI (Pickleball Coaching International) instructor since November 2022. I started playing in 2018 and became addicted from the start.
I generally play at the 4.0 – 4.49 level and have qualified three times for the senior nationals. I just received my International Pickleball Teaching Association CRS-4 rater level and my PCI rater Certification to be able to rate players for tournaments.
I winter as a Pickleball coach at a popular tennis club in the area, I am also an instructor for MIIA (state of Massachusetts wellness) and in the summer I run clinics and drill classes in mid-coast Maine teaching beginners to 4.0 players.
My philosophy is to be as mechanically sound as you can, this includes being in the optimal position on court with real focus on foot work, this is key to success! Having paddle control and a good strike point, along with smart shot selection, will build confidence in making great plays. Use strategy to advance your game against your opponent’s weakness and keep unforced errors to a minimum.
Doing all this while still having fun is important because that is why we play! I am available for individual or group instruction as well as running drill clinics.
